The very first Hindi children’s chess book with narrative story

Bombay (Maharashtra) [India], November 9 (ANI / PNN): Finally, a chess book that aims to teach chess to children in a friendly and interactive way is on the market. Written by invitation from Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) schools, Jahnvi Shah, Shatranj Ke Baal Yodha’s book aims to reach children across India and prepare them for elementary level chess.
Jahnvi Shah, 18, is a national level chess player whose heart goes out to children from underprivileged sections of society. In 2018, she launched her NGO, Nirmaan Charitable Trust, which mentors more than 100 children in ten municipal schools in Maharashtra. Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari honored her to teach chess to children from poor and needy layers of society.
“I am so happy and proud to share that students trained by Jahnvi Shah have won gold and silver medals in chess competitions hosted by All India Municipality Schools. I look forward to using Shatranj Ke Baal Yodha for my students. They will love this Hindi book which teaches chess in a way and in a language they understand best. ” Said Sushma Masale, principal of the Sanyasashram school.
Jahnvi Shah, a talented girl from Dhirubhai Ambani International School, realized that children needed a chess manual that teaches the game in a friendly and interactive way. She kept the language simple and the narrative is full of stories aimed at interactive learning. Reading this book, a child will feel that author Jahnvi is talking to him and guiding him through the intricacies of learning chess.

In her foreword, General Manager Abhijeet Kunte said: “Being an accomplished chess player and a coach herself, Jahnvi Rahul Shah has ensured that she incorporates her understanding of chess and presents it in a fun way. . I love the way the book was conceptualized. and written. Quizzes and exercises reinforce learning in a fun way. ”
Jahnvi will distribute the book for free to BMC students across Mumbai. Kunte expresses his happiness by saying: “It gives me great pleasure to write the preface of a book which will be distributed free to children of BMC schools in Mumbai. Through his NGO, Jahnvi will continue to have an impact on the lives of young children who develop a love for this great game and perhaps represent our country one day. “
The book was published by Sansi Ventures, a publishing house owned by Amarkant Jain and Mayura Amarkant. “When Jahnvi approached us with this innovative concept, we were touched by her sincerity. She put a lot of effort into detailing the chapters, exercises and quizzes to meet the needs of the target audience. We are proud to present Shatranj Ke Baal Yodha, a one-of-a-kind book for elementary level chess. ” Said Amarkant Jain. Jahnvi hopes Shatranj Ke Baal Yodha will help students understand elementary level chess and one day make India proud.
