Let’s Go Podcast Host Brandon Green Shares His Story About His Undiagnosed Light Allergy

A chance encounter with a woman who had the same photosensitive condition greatly reduced his misery, but Brandon firmly believes something is still wrong.

A bizarre 5-day “mild allergy” has left Let’s Go Brandon Green Podcast host in extreme pain and confusion. Brandon’s ordeal began in March 2020 when countries and continents began shutting down to mitigate the effects of the deadly pandemic. However, Brandon began experiencing strange symptoms that were far different and even scarier than typical COVID symptoms. Stroke-like episodes that went so far as to limit his speech, foot drop, gastrointestinal issues, joint pain and fatigue were some of the symptoms he experienced.

The unpleasant sensations from a tube of Aldi sunscreen began to make him doubt the effectiveness of the product as he began to have sensitivity to light on his face. A 5-meter run past his front door felt like a run through hell as he began to burn and smell like a microwaveable bean bag. These sensations continued over the previous months when he unknowingly closed all the blinds in his house. The condition worsened until he was burned by the mall skylights, sweating profusely, and unable to watch his television or phone for more than a few seconds as these gadgets immediately transform into flamethrowers that set his face on fire (alone).
